The branch of OINPE Fundamental Physics and Mathematics Department (Chairman Prof. Vladimir L. Shablov) was organized in 1995 by joint convention of OINPE President Prof. Yury A. Kazansky and IPPE Director Prof. Victor M. Murogov. The branch named as Nuclear Pumped Lasers is based at the IPPE Fission, Fusion & Laser Studies Department.
	Main goals: Attraction of young people to nuclear science and engineering Co-operation between OINPE and IPPE in the area of training of scientific staff Student's personal education Maintenance of generation relay in the fondamental and applied investigations Attraction of students to IPPE Post-Graduate School
