Traditionally "Neutronika" workshop is carried out annually at the end of October in Obninsk. The organization institution is SSC RF-IPPE with scientific and technical association AKTIS. For a long time the workshop had the title “Algorithms and programs for neutron physics calculations of nuclear reactors”. Nowdays the following questions are also considered at the workshop:

•  analysis of neutron physics experiments;

•  databases creation;

•  calculational and experimental justification of neutron physics characteristics in innovative projects of nuclear reactors.

The new title "NEUTRONIKA-2007 – Neutron Physics Questions of Nuclear Power Engineering" reflects the extension of the workshop subject matter.
